For context, I run a subscription-based software as a service company that supports GCSE Maths students via a website.

When I initially had the idea for the business, Andy was the first person I turned to for advice. We had a whiteboard session and I still carry the output from it around in my wallet to this day! Conversations with Andy and Lucy helped me refine my idea, taking it from simply being social media content to being a product and, ultimately, a service that hundreds of students across the UK now use.

Additionally, they have many creative ideas for alternative forms of marketing we’ve found useful. For example, they explained to me their approach to partnering with podiatrists, which I was able to draw parallels with for my own business and used their knowledge to establish partnerships in our own industry.

When I first started my business, I felt fairly confident in getting the initial things in place: setting up a basic supply chain, creating my product, and developing my branding and website. However, once I was up and running and had sold my first round of product to friends and family, I realized that I had no idea what step two should be. 

I listened to a ton of podcasts and read around hoping to find applicable advice from people who had built similar businesses. What I realized is that most of the stories I was hearing were told by people five or ten years ahead of me; though what they were saying was useful, it was all from a bird’s eye perspective and very broad. Getting advice from someone who knows what they are doing has helped me make better decisions and to feel more confident doing so.

 FAQs

  • We will provide you with an hour of coaching a month, plus we are available on a WhatsApp chat if you have any questions in the mean time. Your time spent on your business as you know, is as much or as little as you want it to be.

  • We can guide you in setting your own KPIs based on what your business goals are. We recommend tracking these on a monthly basis whether you work with us or not, and we aim to coach you towards hitting your goals.

  • We can recommend you do certain activities in the business such as marketing spend or outsourcing, it is completely up to you whether you want to invest in these growth activities, we can work with you to stay within the budget boundaries you have. But remember, you’ve got to spend money to make money!

  • No not at all, all coaching will be remote.

  • If you are on a monthly rolling programme, you’ll receive our monthly coaching calls alongside a WhatsApp support chat. You can choose to stop and start your coaching whenever you like, so if you need an ad hoc call or strategy session just get in touch and we can arrange something outside of these packages.

  • We live and breathe it every day! Unlike a lot of business coaches who have done their time and are now just doing coaching, we are building our own 7-figure e-commerce and B2B business as well as this service business. If we learn something, you learn it too.
