The Business
When this founder approached us in 2024 with a brand new to Faire business, we rose to the challenge. They had a great product and were very keen to grow their B2B channel. They had a very small range of products so we encouraged them that with our help, expanding this range would be a key to their success.
The Challenge
Increase the Faire overall optimisation score by at least 50% in the first quarter.
This was a new Faire account when we took it on, with a couple of small sales on the account. The optimisation score we assigned the account during audit was low, which means we had a massive opportunity here to make a difference to this brand.
The Strategy
Stimulate the algorithm by making sales early on, optimising for repeat custom and focussing on growing the small catalogue.
The first month on the account was all about optimisation. We focussed on SEO and adding leads into the account to stimulate the algorithm, and we immediately started seeing sales. After that, we focussed on repeat customers and building up the 5 star review base so retailers confidence in the brand grew. Very quickly the account gained traction and we worked with the brand owner to increase their product portfolio on offer, 10x the SKU count and therefore 10x the amount of SEO potential.
- Immediate delivery on SEO optimisation - The catalogue of products was small at this stage, so the first optimisation was to split out variants on listings and increase the catalogue on Faire whilst adding in trending and relevant keywords.
- Make sales quick and early- On a brand new account like this, the priority is to make those early sales and make them count, we delivered on this within the first week.
- Optimise the account for future sales - As the first sales started coming in, it was crucial to get 5 star reviews on the account and optimise the shop page and collections to increase conversion rate.
