After what feels like forever, Faire has finally introduced multi-user login! And we’re not being dramatic when we say: this changes everything. 

Why This Feature Is a Game-Changer 

Up until now, anyone collaborating on a Faire account had to share the same login credentials. For us at Candid Founders, managing our own brand while still supporting several client accounts became a logistical nightmare. 

Yes, we trust our team. But it’s not about trust, it’s more about security. 

If even one password were to be compromised, someone could gain access not only to our own Faire wholesale marketplace storefront, but potentially to a client's as well. That’s not a risk we ever want to take. 

With multi-user login, each team member can now have their own secure access, with appropriate permissions. No more shared passwords. No more anxiety. 

How to Set Up Multi-User Login on Faire Marketplace 

It’s beautifully simple — just how we like it. Here's how to get started: 

  1. Go to your Faire account and click on “Team” in the menu. 

  1. You’ll see your team dashboard. Add a new member by clicking “Add Member. 

  1. Enter their first name, last name, and email address 

  1. Next, assign a role to each team member. Choose whether they should be an Admin or a Member (this is just for internal labelling; it doesn't affect permissions). 

💡 Pro tip: Only give Admin access to yourself and perhaps a senior team member (like a co-founder). Everyone else remains a “Member.” It’s just safer that way. 

Bonus Tip: One Email, Multiple Faire Accounts? No Problem! 

If you manage multiple Faire accounts like we do, you might have hit this roadblock. You try to use the same email for more than one login and Faire will say: “This email already exists.” So, what do you do? 

Here's the clever workaround: 

Let’s say your email is: 
📧 hello@candidfounders.com 

To create another user with the same inbox, just use this format: 
📧 hello+clientname@candidfounders.com 

For example: 
hello+lucy@candidfounders.com 
hello+clientA@candidfounders.com 

Faire marketplace sees this as a new, unique email, but all emails still land in your regular inbox. This lets you: 

  • Use one email address for multiple accounts 

  • Stay organized 

  • Avoid setting up new inboxes for every client
