The Business

When Bare Kind first entered onto the Faire marketplace, it wasn’t optimised for wholesale in the slightest. We had less than ten sock designs with no bar codes and no ability to even hang in retail. We have spent the last 3 years honing our wholesale strategy on Faire and have become the fastest growing sock brand in Europe on the platform. That is why we started teaching other brands how to grow on Faire, because we are very good at it! Now we scale other brands on the marketplace and Bare Kind continues to grow in the space, we use it as way to experiment with new techniques and showcase how to grow a brand in the e-commerce B2B world.

The Challenge

Take a brand with a new Faire shop from 0-1,000 retailers.

We knew the potential our own brand had, we just had a lot of optimisations to make across product, marketing and operations to get it into the position it is today. We tried so many different techniques for growth, finding out which strategies truly worked to grow a B2B brand online, and now we deploy these strategies for our clients and get the same results in half the time!

The Strategy

Drive high volume of leads, communicate through numerous channels on a regular basis, focus on Q4 as the bid delivery.

We had a good product, we just needed more designs, so we focussed on really building out our catalogue alongside growing on Faire. This was in tandem with driving a serious amount of traffic to our Faire page, adding as many retailers into our funnel as possible to ensure they moved through it at our most crucial time of year, which is Christmas.

  • Quantity and variety of leads - We were able to target a huge volume of leads because we focussed on a few different niches, not just gifting.
  • Constant and consistent communication - We have spent the last 3 years emailing at least once a week and messaging daily from our account, the persistency and consistency pays off and we are rewarded by the algorithm for putting so much work into the platform
  • Optimising our offering for retailers - We have also invested a lot into our point of sale range and marketing options for retailers, ensuring that we are a trusted partner in their growth.
  • Building long lasting relationships - We have put efforts into building relationships with retailers, whose AOV and Lifetime spend increase with us every single year.
  • Using every Faire feature on offer - We are big believers in using all the new fancy tools on offer, the algorithm has an ego and we play to it.

A combination of our consistent, targeted efforts has lead to some amazing results so far, and we continue to work with this brand to grow them into the biggest brand on Faire for their category.
