Growing a brand on Faire owned by a solo design Founder.

Beautiful design, amplified.

Pinch us. We got to visit a client on Martha’s Vineyard.

We took the ferry — or should we say voyage? — across to meet Elissa, founder and designer of Voyager Silk, and learn more about the place where the brand began.

Voyager Silk creates beautiful silk scarves inspired by travel, place and adventure. It’s exactly the kind of brand we love working with: distinctive products, a strong creative founder and so much opportunity to grow.

Elissa’s journey is also one we see again and again. You start the business because you’re passionate about the product. You design it, build the brand, market it, fulfill the orders and somehow keep everything moving yourself.

Until eventually, the business needs more than one person can give it.

You don’t have to let go of your business to let it grow.

For a solo founder, bringing someone else into the business can feel huge. Your brand is your baby. You created it, nurtured it and probably spent years doing everything yourself.

Our job isn’t to take that away.

It’s to amplify what Elissa has already built and take the repetitive Faire work off her plate so she can spend more time doing the thing only she can do: creating the next great Voyager Silk design.

And then the graph starts moving.

We started working with Voyager Silk in early 2026, and we think the growth curve tells the story better than sharing absolute sales figures ever could.

What started from a very small base quickly turned into consistent month-over-month momentum.

March moved up. April moved up again. May accelerated. June jumped. And by July, Voyager Silk had reached its strongest month in the period shown.

That’s the kind of graph we love to see. Not one random spike, but momentum building as more of the right pieces start working together.

Creatives should be creating.

Faire creates an enormous opportunity for designers. It gives independent brands access to thousands of retailers looking for products with a point of difference.

But making Faire work takes time.

Listings need optimizing. Imagery needs creating. Retailers need messaging. Collections need merchandising. New products need launching. The account needs consistent attention.

None of that is why Elissa became a designer.

So the more of that work we can take away, the more time she gets back to create — and the more products we have to put in front of retailers.

More products, more opportunities.

This has become one of the biggest conversations we’re having with founders.

Once you have a product retailers want and an account that is starting to work, sometimes the next growth lever is incredibly simple: give them more to buy.

A bigger, well-merchandised catalog gives you more opportunities to appear in search, more entry points for new retailers and more reasons for existing customers to reorder.

For Voyager Silk, that means turning more of Elissa’s creativity into products retailers can actually discover.

Bring the story into the store.

Wholesale isn’t just about showing a beautiful product in isolation. Retailers need to be able to imagine it in their own store.

Which scarves belong together? How could they be displayed? What story does the collection tell? What makes Voyager Silk different from everything else the retailer is scrolling past?

That’s also why getting to Martha’s Vineyard mattered. We wanted to capture Elissa, the place behind the brand and the story that inspired Voyager Silk — then bring more of that into the way the brand shows up on Faire.

The direction of travel is looking pretty exciting.

We’re still early in our journey with Voyager Silk, which is perhaps the most exciting part.

The brand was already beautiful. Our job is to help more retailers find it, buy it and keep coming back for more.

And give Elissa the space to keep creating what comes next.

Want us to amplify what you’ve already built?

If you’ve built a great product brand but know there’s more opportunity for you on Faire, that’s exactly what we help brands unlock.
